Hi...
New member Perry Miller in sunny west-central Arizona. Our best riding weather is here and many of us have been riding since October. Our weather here averages about 5 degrees warmer than Phoenix in the summer & 5 degrees cooler than Phoenix in the winter.Still, it's very pleasant this time of year for those of us who ride frequently.
Been mostly a Harley & BMW rider since the mid seventies, although I bought an '82 GL1100 brand new off the showroom floor in Issaquah WA in August of that year. I've also owned a '76 & '77 GL1000 in years past. I just recently made a deal on another '77 GL from Flagstaff and pick it up next Monday. The PO did an off-frame rebuild & it looks pretty dang good!
Something keeps drawing me back to these "Oldwings"!
I've enjoyed wandering through the forums and can see that with all the wisdom of you members there's not much a guy couldn't do to keep these classics rolling.
Once I get this "new" '77 GL I'll try posting up some pics.
