bought some (carbon Kevlar) pads on the net,, went to change out, the new ones pads are about an eighth inch thick,, the old ones are at least 1/4 ,, I didn't change anything.
 
Sounds thin unless the material doesn't wear as fast but that sounds the same as organic kelvar only using the fancy name "Carbon",
Can you say where you got them so that someone else isn't disappointed.

I'm not finding this place.
