Hi. I've just discovered this forum.
I'm in Newcastle in the north of England. I got my Goldwing ('83 GL1100 Aspencade) in August last year. It had been put back on the road by the PO's friend who is an aircraft engineer and is professionally proud of his work. No major problems so far, but I'm trying to keep on top of maintenance while still being able to ride when I can.
My wife made me get the Goldwing as she had never been on the back of a motorcycle before and liked the idea of the big comfy seat and backrest. She loves it now!

Hello New Brit.was woundering if you get out much to the bike shops out there,was woundering if thay still sale maxxis tires for motorcycles there in the UK,the wide white walls.
