This is all kind of new to me! I've been doing a lot of game playing on my IPad,here, but not much in the way of communicating. I hope this is the right place to be writing..I have two GW 's ,1983 Gl1100 and '96 GL1500.. riding the big puppie about 6 yrs. Road with local GWWA grp.in Lake Forest a short time but not much riding last couple years.. Wife sez only enough room for one bike in the garage, selling the '96 and hope to customize the '1100. Well, that get's me to my problem. The 1500 has a running problem. Most of my mechanical knowledge and work has been on cars. How do I get some "how to 's" on fixing the 1500, in need of help..

Welcome. Post up a thread with your first issue in general shop talk 1500 section and the guys here will help.

Live long and prosper. God bless you.

Welcome to the site from New Jersey! :clapping:

Yep, start a new thread explaining what your problem is with the 1500 and we will try to help!

Thank,s all. Still, Not quite sure if I am to discuss Here and Now or "find the general shop, talk 1500 section " of the forum to lay out my problem? And where I find it and if I need a certain number of "posts" to access,it ???? I'm confused (but not the first time!)

I'll get you headed in the right direction jackp. Scroll up to top of this page, on left side click on Forums, forums page will load, scroll down to Shop talk section and you will see GL1500, click on gl1500 and a post page will load, on the left side click on New Topic and a new post page will load, in the narrow blank box at top, type in a title like " running problems with my 1500" and in the big blank box type in the description of the problem and the questions you have and then click the submit button at the bottom of the box. That's all there is to it. After a couple of post it will be just like riding a bicycle to ya. Happy posting.

Welcome from Oz. my Rats Nest is parked at my brothers place in Laguna Niguel just up the road from you. I will be there in August for our big ride.
