I rode back in the fifties. Anyone remember those days? I had a 125 BSA then a 250 Zundapp Super Sabre and finally a BMW R50. I foolishly traded the BMW for a car. I sure wish I had that bike now. I bought the 1980 GL1100 not running but it had an opposed engine slightly similar to the BMW. I got it running and my wife and I enjoyed many miles riding it. It caught fire two years ago from a fuel leak.

I think the oldest bike I had was a 66 Duccati 160, nice little street thumper, Didn't live in the 50`s but if I had to pick a time to be 20 something in it would be in the 50`s.
