New to the site, I'm coming in with about 30 years of riding but only about 4 on a full cruiser - 1983 Goldwing Gl1100 Interstate. I am the second owner of this completely original bike. I am researching about changing my exhaust - has some holes and time to replace. I would gladly pay for originals but they are no longer made by Honda. I'm just a bit anal about keeping the bike as original as possible.

Welcome aboard. Keeping a 30 year old machine original can be costly in many ways. Plenty of used original exhaust for sale on ebay in various conditions at varied prices.

Welcome from North TEXAS DFW area...... During your search for originals in good condition.. you could in the mean time get used pipes and replace the muffler with Hartley mufflers... this will allow you to ride and pass inspection... Hartley pipes are usually take offs be cause they are too quiet... not trying make you change to something else.. just trying to keep you riding during your search.

When I needed a "new" exhaust for my 1100, I found a good used system for $100.00. Not knowing for sure how long a 30 year old "new" used exhaust system would last, I also got the parts and pieces together to put 1000 manifolds and Sportster mufflers on it when the time comes.
