I have recently purchased a 1976
GL1000. It has not been running for over seven years. Needs much TLC to get the old girl back on the road

Welcome from Oz. Steve83 has just resurrected an 81 that hadn't run for 13 years and an 82 for over 3 years.

Welcome to the forum..I resurrected one that sat 23 years with just basic stuff, belts, hoses, fresh fluids, brake and carburetor rebuild , you should have no problem if you go though it right.
Good luck on your wing.

Welcome from New Mexico. I got my 81 GL1100 in probably about the same condition. Been working on it for about 19 months, but she is almost ready for the road. :clapping:
