Hi, had my GW for a little over 4 years. She was in bad shape when I rolled her across the street from my neighbors garage. Paid $500 for her and have invested probably close to 2K and a lot of elbow grease. I have had to buy a lot of used parts off eBay to get her rideable and loking pretty. I was never able to get the carbs exactly the way I wanted them but does run Ok, and have accumulated 4800 miles, mostly short couple hour rides. I have to replace the fork seals as they have developed a leak, and I have a rear master cylinder that I have tried to rebuild twice and even got one off eBay but both are badly pitted and I can't find a decent one. Well enough rambling been member of a couple other GW forums and I appreciate all the help and information that other members provide. Ride on! :moped:

Welcome from Southern California! Yes, sadly, the '83 rear master cylinder can be a challenge, but keep looking. I finally found a good one on Ebay, after 3 not-so-good ones. Enjoy the ride!
