Hi all. I may have been in here before but by another name back when I had my 1980 Standard. Well I am on another restore, this time a 1981 wing left over from the other bike I build last summer. I am going to need a lot more parts for this bike so any help to some links and parts would be much appreciated.
Thanks. Steve J.

What parts are you gonna need,? can you make yourself a list and post it, welcome back ....

Just cause you finish building doesn't mean you've worn out your welcome. Good to have you join us again.

Steve I have an 80 and an 81 parts bike make a list of what you need I will give you a price with shipping. Saddle Bags are sold - Fairing is in good condition the 80 only had 60K onit

Thank you very much. This is really nice to be treated like this. Some of the other goldwing sites I used to go to were arrogant and argumentative in there approach to each other. My list is not all that big, little stuff. I just got all the parts out of the shed and am going over what I have. I know I need the back disk rotor, back shocks, back master cylinder, spark igniters, a set of rebuildable carbs. I am going over it all know. I will know more as I find time to go over every thing. Sold some stuff on E-Bay, (will not do that again.)
I noticed you are from Canada. You guys up there are some special people and you don't have a very much time to ride you bikes up there. I know I used to live in Minnesota!
Thanks again, Steve J.

Actually I rode (at least once) every month through winter this year - GLOBAL WARMING ---- gotta love it
