Hello out there!!! I'm "OTTO". A few years ago I rescued a 1981 CB900C from a barn it had been in for 5 years. It was a challenge getting it to roadworhy condition, but it was worth it. Last year I put 6,700 miles on it and loved almost every minute of it, (except the time the fuel filter clogged on the highway). It took me 6 months to get the charging system working since the first part I replaced was the regulator rectifier, and it was faulty, Or I burned it out the first few times trying to keep it running. Anyway, this year I moved up a few notches to a 1983 Aspencade. I'm really looking forward to saddling this baby up and taking some trips. I live in northern Illinois, (but am from Wisconsin where my heart is). Any direction I take off in will allow me to ride for days without seeing familiar country, and that's what I plan on doing.

I was on the CB900 forum for the last couple years and really learned a LOT from the experts there. I'm hoping to learn as much on this site. I found that bikers are a pretty close knit group and share a passion for the road and their equipment. I can't wait to start riding, but the winter here won't let go. With any luck it'll only be a couple more weeks.

I look forward to learning from you and hopefully sharing some stories!
