Got a 1983 Goldwing from my brother that's been sitting for 13 years-so I'm getting back into riding after 30 years! I used to have a Honda 450 in the old days that I rode back and forth to work out in CA.
This bike needs lots of loving care- already rebuilt the carbs-redid the calipers and starting to rebuild the master cylinders too. Brakes were sticking after the calipers were done, so I hope the master cylinder rebuild will help, plus getting new brake pads.
Got it running but have to do better job of syncing the carbs, plus small leak on #3(missed small O-ring. Tires are 19 years olds so they're next plus I think the air shocks are bad.
But it's a project for now and I'm loving it. Hope to get lots of good information from these great sites!
