I was a HATER of ANY P.O.S. road yacht! Then last year while cruising craigslist for parts for my CB1100F, I bought a 1983 GW1100 running for 500$. little did I realize. thanks to these forums, i spent a grand total of $1043.00 on it (including a paintjob) and then rode around the continent for weeks,. FLto CT to NY to PA, around the Lakes to MN, then the Dakotas, Montana, the edge of Canada, ouot to Seattle and south to Frisco, back acroos by way of Nevad, Utah, CO, KS, and all the way back down to home in FL. I spent up to 9-10 hours a day sometimes and peg dragged through many a mountain pass and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!
I have now got two wings and not enough time to finish the 82 custom!!!

Welcome from a fellow CBR owner (admitted to 2, but really have 5 in various conditions). I am now the proud owner of a 81 1100 and plan to put 4500 miles on it in August. I will be travelling with my brother on his 2012 Road King and our Dad on an 82 1100 and hoping to have a great family adventure!
