I thought I'd done this once already.

Howdy folks, I'm new at most things to do with anything other than Harleys unless I go back about 45-50 years.(yep really!)
I am here for your daughters ...er... to mine data! I have an '82 750/4 custom that I'd wanted to use, but then I ran across a good (and cheap) GL1100, so all bets are on that now as I had wanted one for a long time.
The 750/4 is now a winter café/rat project as it needs rings and most likely a few more things while the guts are on the table. And that'll take a bit as I'm fairly busy galavanting all over North America in a truck.
I'll be watching and reading, and eventually will fit in with the rest of you.

Cheers,
Relic.

Things are looking up,

The fellow whom I bought the 1100 from was kind enough to take the bike to a mechanic to have it certified.
Upon cheking out the particulars, the outcome is that it will need a new front tire, which is on its way as we speak and will arrive tuesday after which the PO will install it and get the safety done. Nice guy? Yes very nice guy, and now my first buddy in the Honda world :salute:

At the same time I am just home from a long trip and will head south for about 4 hours to go and check out another '83 wing but it will probably not be as nice as the one I just bought.

However; the price is right and that will give me a total of 3 engines and two 1100's.
As I have a spare engine that came with the wing I just bought.

Now we're talking! Hobby time!
One wing for riding in comfort, one for twisting into a chop of some kind and an extra engine for testing mods on, yeah!
All I need now is time, I'll be back!
