I have no power to my air system at all. I have the key in park position and push the selector switch and the increase switch and I get nothing. I don't even have anything on the display as far as air pressure as the manual says it should have. I unplugged the compressor and fed it 12 volts and it works fine. just don't have anything else. I checked for power to the compressor plug and found Zero power. I also pulled apart the Increase switch and checked it for power and found zero power. So there is no power making it to the pump or switch. Is this a bad Ignition
switch maybe? I was reading about how the 83 1100's (Mine is the Aspencade with digital guages) had a proprietary switch just for that year and I am aware of the new company that sells and manufactures a replacement but at a $209 cost I would like to see if there is possibly anything else it could be. Is the old ignition switch serviceable? does it come apart? I spent my day today removing my fairing to gain access to wires to begin testing stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a 86 sei and the problem I had was bad connections cleaned then up and used a little dielectric grease fixed the problem.

Yes, A good place to start for sure. I will check all the connections today and see what surfaces.
