A ton of feathers weighs 2000lb. A ton of steel weighs 2000lb. So why is getting a motorcycle to a measly 100mph considered "Doing the ton?" :headscratch:

I guess it depends on the rider.......and how scared he or she gets at 100...........and how much they ate prior........ :heat:

And ya know thats kinda like diapers. On the bag they say 7-14 lbs,or simular. We couldnt get them to hold no where near that much when our kids were little. At the very most they hold a couple pounds.

Could it be the new math? Maybe there's a mathmatical formula proving a motorcycle weighs 20# less for every mph? So 100mph times 20# would make bike and rider 2000# lighter? Methinks theres a flaw in that too. Maybe not though. Ya spose it might be the reason for a few plus sized riders? But then how do we splain the little guys on stripped down 650s? They start at 800# combined weight of bike and rider. So if they lose a ton of gravity? I think we need a rocket scientist here. :headscratch: :headscratch: :Awe:

My speedo only goes to like 85 so I don't know how fast I'm going after that.....I know it's over the speed limit..
