Hope any/all of our brothers & sisters in Okiehoma are otay......yeeeeeesh.. what a freeking storm. So sad to see so many lives taken like this. Our prayers are with all of those folks up yonder....

Yes I just heard on the way home from work. I was in okicity about 30 years ago. Hard to believe they couldn't see it coming. You can watch your dog run away from home for three days there.

Sometimes you get fair warning, other times that sh :sensored: t just pounces out of the sky with a vengeance. There ain't no hidin from them when they do that. Looks like it's gunna be a really bad year for tornaders this year. Already had too many breakouts.....dang.

Keeping them all in my prayers. Please pray for my brothers and sisters on the fire departments. The things they have to see and do while their own homes may be in rubble.

I believe they saw it coming and tornado sirens went off. The tornado was a mile wide and on the ground for 20 miles or more and only moving at 20 miles an hour. It was classified as an EF5 with winds up to 200 MPH. Most of the houses that I saw on the news were down to the foundations. 2 schools were hit hard and almost completely leveled. Too many lives lost for sure, but not many structures can withstand that much wind for that long. My prayers go out to everyone affected.

That dog is part of her.

Brings a tear to my eye's. I'm so happy for her.

We can't believe the devastation here, all our news services are running these incredible stories. Human spirit seems to triumph in adversity and our hearts are warmed when some ones 4 legged mate survives when all else is lost. :good:

Janet and I lived in Moore OK...it's where we met. We left in 93 to come to Vegas and the 1999 tornado flattened the house my family(already in Vegas) lived in when I was in school with Janet. The same tornado took our last residence there to the foundation.

I don't pray often, for family and friends(my own and) of members here and after tragedies like this one. I hope God heard my prayer.
