One wish

A guy caught a fairy by the wing so the fairy was required to grant him one wish.

The guy stated: “I want to live forever.”

The fairy replied: “I am unable to grant wishes that provide immortality.”

The guy thought for a few minutes and then said: “I want to live until Congress gets its act together.”

The fairy replied: “You crafty bastard!”

There is another difference: One is real and the other was created by people so that they could make themselves look like they were doing something.
