"before" i got the book out,, i started taking the large nut on the end of the axle loose,, probly got to the last thread before i realized ,, this aint right,,, .. well when i torqued it bac to where i thought it was ,, the speedometer- carrier,, (round part that rides on axle) was not moving,,, and i believe it was when i started,, it was loose,, and stops against a rest... so does anyone know if that is supposed to be free or not... ?? im havin a hell of a time,, w/my internet,, cannot seem to post on here... if i bac off like half a turn,, it free's up,, so i need to check the torque spec...

ies you need to bacl off some ...slow down and realy make sure you putting it together right ...i hope you didnt speard the forks to bad ...next time its the caps that come off or loose first ....it needs to space right there the caps hold it in place ...the caps have arrows on them point to the front they have to be done that way also ...redo and post ...it dosent torque down and the sensor sould be free to move

ya,, i know i spread the dang forks,,, "dirty words" . I did not notice the arrows,, ty,, . im just starting on this project,,.. probly b done today idk,, alot of chores (mowing) to do as i have been up in mi. for family stuff. I do have another set of forks they r like new,, was hoping not to use them as the color on top doesn't match and i would have to remove the fairing ,, and that looks like a big job as far as the electrical is concerned
