My '83 gl1100 is a mongrel, but I'm learning a ton while getting it roadworthy. The recent issue seemed to be a need for adjusting the carbs after a synch got them running smoother' The problem was getting at the pilot screws to turn them. after a bunch of reading and trying all my tools including the "skewdriver" to no avail I decided something drastic might actually work. A small pinion gear from a radio control toy car so I can push the screw around with a small pointed object. I hope to have it back on the street in a couple days to see if I'm lucky or just learning more stuff that almost works!

Thanks for noticing, now that I have tried them out in a tuning session I can report on performance. It works...well! To make these easier to use, I will paint one half white to keep track of the position easier' Right now one half is colored with black sharpie and the contrast isn't so easy to see.
