ordered on ebay, said it was for gl1100.. they came from starcycle in ca. #1152 sportster springs (it says). They are so small they fit inside my springs. I'll try to get it straightened out tomorrow,, bet I got ripped off

They should make it right for you. Either by replacing with the correct springs or refund. I've only had one ebay seller that was determined to rip me off and paypal refunded my money from him.

they said they made a mistake and are in the process of making it right. I don't have paypal and that actually make's return's more difficult.

I thought they would make it right. Be sure to give them the best feedback once they have. That is very important to ebay sellers.

Good news!! Not all ebayers are dirtbags. Most are willing to take care of any issues that may come up. I bought a speedo for my '81 once, and when it got here it was the complete gauge set-up with speedo and tach. Unfortunatly, the speedo was an aftermarket one that someone had cobbled up and installed in the GW housing. I told the seller about it, and they refunded my money, and said just keep it. SO..I got a good tach, and gauges out of the deal for free....but still had no good speedo. :smilie_happy:
