He says it's only putting out 19psi and it's supposed to be 49psi, guy he bought it from says that's fine, and must be something else.

Oh yeah the problem is stalling, at lights, even sometimes while cornering in parkinglots and such. The new pump is $320+. I'm thinking get a different brand pump and just modify. What do you guys think?

19psi is not likely to work on injection. F?un part is finding an external pump that has high pressure.
 
There are self contained, external fuel pumps that will deliver anywhere from 14 to 50-60 psi, for add-on automotive applications, like hot rods, and such. You might need some sort of regulator to get it to the correct pressure, but that's available too. Might check with Jeg's, or Summit....
 
Maybe the injectors are dirty. Running ATF in the fuel will help clean them and lubricate the pump a little better too. Might try that.
