recomendation of a campground for STURGIS?

Can anyone give a recomendation for a campground around Sturgis. I think we are going to make it there this year. Should we get there a week before it starts or a week left to the end of it? Do I really need to make reservations before or can you find a place to put a tent easily?

My recomendation would be to go easy on the Harley Jokes while your there!

Never been, but hope to someday. Google "sturgis campground" and about ten will pop up and each one lists the goings on for each day and the concerts. I hear the Buffalo Chip and the Broken Spoke are cool.
