Been driving my bike to work everyday now which is 75 km one way. Have to say my windsheild is killing me. Need to get one about 5" taller. Any suggestions? Looked on ebay and i'm not willing to cough up 200.00 for a new one down i would have to downsize it. I'm interested in making my own but need to know where to start.

If your oven is big enough you can get a piece of Lexan big enough. Lay butcher paper on your old shield and draw the shape. Then transfer that to the (still covered) Lexan. Extend it to the size and shape you want. Go to the manufacturer website for the Lexan and get the temperature they recommend for shaping it. Warm it up and lay it over your old shield to shape it. Drill the mount holes slowly. Let the bit do the work and don't push. Low speed on the drill. Remove the covering and sand the edges smooth and install.

Would plexiglass work just as well or does it have to be lexan? Lexan isn't to cheap and i can't seem to find any around were i live.

I'll sell you mine, it's very tall, about 27". Come up with the shipping charges from Woodland, CA 95695 and add what you think it might be worth and it's yours. I went with a shorter Cee Bailey and I'm not going back to a tall one.

PM me for particulars and I'll send you some photos is you want.

Thanks but i'm not looking for a tall sheild just a few inches taller then what i have now. As you can see in the picture below, my winsheild is really low. Just want to go up about 4 to 5".

Yes plexiglass will do fine but again you need to check with the manufacturer for the proper temperature to form it. I like that little shorty you have. It looks good on there.

I really like the shorty and plan on keeping it, just want to get another for the highway trips to work. Or find some kind of deflector that would work on this. Think i'm just going to look for another wing sheild and just lower it to the height i'm looking for. Might be the easiest route.
