I haven't talked to the owner yet. It looks to be complete, with funky fairing. I really want to for the price, but I haven't come close to finishing the '83 yet. MBS is a PITA!

It would be tempting..I have been seeing it while i`m searching CL but I couldn't get it if it were free. Exhaust I think is worth a bill or two if it is intact with no holes, Looks like it has a police style faring in front, not sure if Vetter made those or not. I would call them and offer to take it away for free if it doesn't sell, you might just get a call later on saying come get it.
Lotta work needed...It is a hard sell for that reason.

im with tony steve lots of good parts there and enough to make a bike ...a lower end shoet block is not that bad and the option to 1100 or 1200 also ...hooch was 300$ bike ...if it was here id already have it home

I believe that is a Bates or Pacifico faring which are getting very hard to come by and are desirable! The faring alone could pay for the bike!

I left a message with the seller last night, no response yet. I'll call again in a while.

If I do get it, my first impulse is to restore it, but who knows what the insides look like. We shall see...

Keep in mind I think that rear wheel is just resting in the rear, one pic shows it is not there at all, the other looks like it is just rolled under the fender. you`ll need tools, shocks maybe and engine hoist.
Part that sucker out..Looks real expensive to restore plus DMV and verification fees.

Restore it if possible. You do great work there Steve. I bought head gaskets off Ebay $27 each. A bit of a risk I know but I'm willing to give them a try.

blown motor? to a non goldwinger that could be just a broke belt. or bad points. unless you can see a piston sticking out. i don't know on goldwings, but on a honda 400. if the clutches go bad it won't run.or start.might just be i don't know syndrum.
