Locally a mixer company lost part of it's building due to sink holes and the same town has lost a few homes to them also. One of the bowling alleys has a bar called the sink hole saloon. When you live in limestone territory, it's just a fact of life.

What a shame that those cars were lost. :crying:

Yes; that was in this morning's paper - from what I got out of the article, all the cars can be fixed....

Sink holes are right out of a damn Steven King movie....

Pretty sad, I know the 58 vette(black one) was donated by a guy that was so fussy about his car he literally couldnt take it on the road anymore..I hope he didnt see what happened..I would think a floor like that would be reinfored with rebar and or heavy guage wire screening, if it were it would act as a safety net.
