Have you ever seen the speedometer needle bob up and down about 3 - 4 mph? It is kind of annoying after looking at it for a while. Another problem I have with my 1100 speedo is that it stops at 85 mph. Well I have a speedo from a 78 GL1000 that goes up to 150 mph and it might not be like that bobbing dog in the back of the car, so I am curious if there are any differences between the two.

I really don't want to destroy the 78 speedo by trying it first, so I figure why not ask the question first. I think I could also lose some miles with a new speedo: I have 111,000 on the 1100 speedo and only 45,000 on the 1000 speedo. :hihihi:
