Yesterday my speedometer was working fine, then it was on zero and has been ever since.

Question#1:
Is the speedo cable on an 83 Interstate different than the one on an 82 Standard?

Question#2:
Could the speedo cable have been causing my right turn signal to cancel early, since it does not cancel at all now that the speedo is inop?

i know about as much on the canceling turn signals as i do about computers so im no help here :hihihi:

if the 83 is an interstate with machanical speedo the 82 sould work i think

My 81 has aftermarket rear shocks and the speedo wasn't working when I bought the bike. I replaced the cable and now I have a low pressure light for my rear shocks once I exceed 30mph. The newer shocks don't have the pressure sending unit.
