Not asking whether you camp or not but if you do, have you tried the Kamp-Rite tent cots?
I am interested and may try one out...they now seem to have one that can be either a tent cot or on-the-ground-tent that looks interesting. I am thinking this may be a good addition to my sidecar rig....The big problem for me is there isn't any for sale in my state that I know of...I went on a mission through Albuquerque looking and Las Cruces and El Paso are out of the question...there is very little interest in camping from the general Hispanic community.

Thanks for any reviews....

I was able to see one when I was at the Cabelas store in Olympia one day and sat in it and laid down for a minute....I find that it was very comfy with its pad and seemed like a great solution to sleeping in a tent on the ground. I find that it is quite difficult for me to climb in and out of a smaller tent and get up off the pad on the ground....I can do it but it is difficult....
Now an option is a larger tent and a cot inside but that just takes up more space in the hack.
I am hoping that the tent cot will be what I think it is, comfy, quick and easy for nights on the road where you don't even need a flat tent spot to set it up.
I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to travel if I have to spend the money they charge to lay down through the dark spell in a bedbug infested, uncomfortable bed or in other words, a motel that is even under $75 a night...I can't think of anything less worth it to me to spend my money on.
And, being who I am I just can't be kept home....I LOVE to tour on a bike.
I do well with my Hennessey hammock when I am at sea level but as the altitude increases, I need to use my CPAP and high enough, I need my oxygen concentrator....much easier in this tent cot than in a hammock...

Thanks for the encouragement....
