Thanks honey but I'm going to ride, OR now I know what they mean by "cager."

I've been temporarily transferred to our sister facility to duplicate a very successful Restorative Therapy program I built from the ground up. Now I have to commute on a highway to work that has an average speed of 80mph so I've started wearing proper gear and in this late summer heat it is a bit warm.

Yesterday the wife said "take my car, I'm off and won't need it until you get home. You'll have a nice cool ride home." I agreed. So there I am, flying down the fast lane on my way home. Before the Spaghetti Bowl interchange the traffic starts to bunch up, not slowing down just bunching up.

Janet's car is really nice, Infiniti I35, high output V6, sport tuned suspension, Goodyear Eagles, tinted windows, leather interior, Bose sound system and sweet ice cold AC.

None of it mattered. After weeks of making this commute on my Wing I felt absolutely claustrophobic, surrounded on 3 sides like I was in a box while sitting in a gilded cage. So next time it's "thanks honey but I'm going to ride." :moped:

I am in the car today much to Ruth's relief ( showed her too many dash cam videos) but certainly not mine, hopefully I will ride tomorrow again :good: :moped:

I'd rather be riding ANY day then be in either of the Caderacks. The only thing I would rather be in would be one of the Corvettes. Other than that, it's two wheels for me. :good: :moped:

+1 too bad I don't have a Corvette or two like Joel :smilie_happy:
Does the Kombi count?

A buddy of mine has a 71 Canary Yellow version. When we were stationed in VA Beach, we both had 1985 GS550L's. When we were cruising the beach, we got more attention when we were on the bikes than when we were in the Vette.

Yeah, Joel, if you have to drive a car, a Vette is a nice way to go.

Pffft, Corvettes...I'd rather be in one of my three Dodge Chargers snackin on Chevy Fiberglass. :mischief:

Do you mean like this one or much earlier Randy?

Very nice Randy. I am an old Chrysler fan. Down here the pentastars were called Valiants.
I used to have a yellow Valiant Charger with a 265 Hemi (6cyl) and torque flight transmission.
