Hi all!

My daughter is the bass player in a new Indie-Rock band called the Fetter Moment! I wanted to post a YouTube video of their music in the "What are you listening to now?" thread but there are no videos, just the website with a free download of 4 songs (you can listen to them without downloading). She is also a background singer!

Just me doing the proud Daddy dance!! :Egyptian:

:clapping: yep nice stuff.....kind of a sweet soothing music and voice combo thats easy on the ears ....i think that in music from the soul and heart could use a little more emotion input ...but this is more a personal view from a player and the songs were really done well and inline with whats out there ....ralationship music of our father presence in us is truely undefeatable .....i cant remember your name gerry daughter but im very pleased with your steps you have taken since ive known your father ...your quite a trail blazer ...dont stop blazing and dont leave anything in back pocket ... :clapping:

Thanks guys! Joe, that is my middle daughter Colleen.....my Goldwing restoring mechanic! She was 16 when we restored the bike together and she is 21 now living in Florida. This music is a release for her helping write tracks and arrangements since her full time job is a worship leader in children's ministry. Often, she feels like she is in a never ending Vacation Bible School program with the kids (which is fun) but she needs some adult music to keep her skills sharp too! :thanks:

I don't remember if I posted this before, but during Christmas we traveled to Fort Lauderdale to visit our daughter. While there, we were lamenting the fact that because it was Christmas break we would not have a chance to actually hear her perform live with her band The Fetter moment. :crying:

Well, the afternoon we were heading out to the airport there was a knock on her apartment door and, lo and behold, the band came over to say hi! Better yet, they performed an 8 song mini concert right there in her apartment for us! :Egyptian: :yahoo:

Of course, we were not prepared with good recording equipment or a decent video camera, so I recorded a few songs on the video feature of my still camera. The lighting isn't great, but boy was it sure a great Christmas present!!

Here is a song that is not yet released otherwise called, 'The Darkness Meets the Dawn". There is a professional version not yet released so shhhhh.....(don't tell anyone yet!)

Joneses is a killer tune. :rocks:

~O~
Sure is! Wait til you hear the new stuff. Releases are slow because studio work is real expensive! They just finished recording a single last week at a private studio to be released in about two months.

Joneses is cool for us since our daughter wrote all of the Bass parts and some of the guitar parts. She has helped write and arrange all of the songs plus she always plays the bass and sings. Not too many kids get to do it professionally! (However, they still have a long way to go before they can ever make any money.)
