Fetacheese » Mon Jun 24, 2013 4:35 pm[/url]":1y0t0or9]Once in a while I meet a guy that likes to brag on how fast his bike is. No big deal i usually just sluff it off.
Today though was a bit different. I think I met the King of all braggards. I was looking at a buds Yammy ceka ? or is it spelled Seca? 900 something or another ,known to be one of the fastest of the fast 80's bikes.
The dude (not my friend) starts talking CBX's, also know to be one of the fast ones and how he used to run it up160 to in second gear. I wasted no time telling him to give me some of what he was on. Of course in a short while the 160 dropped down to 120 after little trash talking of my own ,mostly me telling him he needs to get off what ever **** he is own cause what he's saying don't jive with reality. By the time I left I had him red in the face screeming from the top of his voice how much I didn't know ,and to stop talking to him. :smilie_happy:
Best damn afternoon I had in a long time. :smilie_happy:

Maybe if you strap on a JATO bottle! :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :moped:

I think it does in kilometres but not miles per hour (160 kph in second gear at 11000 rpm)

i dunno that's pretty fast for second gear - my V65 sabre was pretty fast and the best I could get out of her is about half of what this clown is claiming.

Yes it is Seca. Yes they are fast. Not as fast as the fool thinks his CBX is. Guy was an adept braggard but in no way was he king. I've met far worse and work with a few that know everything about everything. It really is fun proving them wrong. :hihihi:

More to the point does he still own a CBX? I should be bringing the carbys off my mates CBX for Jack at Old School Carbs to work his magic on them.

Hmmmm......120 in 2nd gear? Wonder what it runs out at in high gear? Lessee...2.....6....carry the 12.....divide by point oh 22224.....that werks out to right at twelve thousand, four hunnert and twenty seven point oh 5 miles per hour. What's so hard to believe aboot that? :moped:

Maybe if you strap on a JATO bottle!

I heard the last guy that did that, put it on a Chevy, ended up proving if you put enough energy behind something it will fly. Once you light that candle you are going for a ride.
