Michelin have finally come out with an 18" CommanderII tire for the front, obviously for the road king community.

I have a CommanderII on the back and I like it a lot, my front is a 120-90v-18 and the CommanderII is a 130-70b-18.

Obviously! My question is, will it fit & work on my bike??

Might want to check with michelin directly. I think it will but the actual diameter may be a little smaller and cause the speedometer to read higher.

Well considering my answer to the question? Sir, do you know how fast you where going? is!

Well actually no, because the 30 year old speedometer on this bike is really only a guide!

And the fact that, that has always worked. I'm not really worried about changing the tire circumference.

But I am concerned about the new tire rubbing or even not turning within the confines of my front fender.

Unless someone else has tried that combination before you, I think that you will have to be the pioneer and answer the question for all..

Yes it's unclear how 90v compares with 70b in what I assume is the profile of the tire. I also have no idea what it's ratings are for load or speed.

The 120 is 4.7 inched and the 130 is 5.1 inches so you may have a fender width issue. Since you will be going with a lower profile tire, you may get enough clearance on the fender. The height difference is about six tenths of an inch. I am wondering how the size change may affect the handling.
