What is the best thing to use to keep the :sensored: :sensored: :sensored: :sensored: Intersate trunk weather seal attached? I have cleaned it and tried several different tpyes of RTV sealant with no luck: It always wants to peal off. I am almost to the point where I am rady to rivet it in place. Help!

A little on the seal, a little on the trunk edge, let it sit for a minute, stick them together, pull back off and wait a few seconds, then stick it back on......it will stay there for-EVER....you'll need the special adhesive remover to get the dang things back off if ya ever want to replace them. :good:

If you've used silicon(rtv) on the seal, you need to make sure you get all of that stuff off. Use some alcohol, or brake cleaner to really clean the groove of the seal, and then let that dry before gluing it on the trunk.
I need to do the same thing on mine....the seals on the saddlebags flop around on the rear edge. I might do that this weekend.

I have a weekend of work planned: weather seals, a new rear sneaker, some work on the ignition switch, and a new coat of clear-coat on the tank cover plus what ever else pops up... :Egyptian:
