The green flasher and neutral lights mounted on the headlamp are really hard to see in full sunlight so I decided an LED upgrade was in order. It was difficult to find the wedge bulb in the correct LED size in green so I thought what the heck a blue LED behind a green bezel should be fine.

A strong blue LED is still blue through a green bezel :doh:
When I put the LED in the holder I was pleased to get the polarity around the right way and it worked well with testing of the left flasher. Unfortunately the wiring to the indicator bulb was a positive feed from each side flasher ( the earth comes from the side not on through the flasher bulbs) so it didn't work when I used the right hand one. I modified the bulb holders ( flashers, neutral and high beam) wiring behind the plug by tying the blue wire ( RH flasher) to the green high beam earth and inserting two diodes from the left and right flasher feed wires to the LH flasher bulb holder wire. :good:
