Yep, after years trying to get my CFO to agree to the acquisition of a laptop I finally have one. Nothing fancy, it's a DELL inspirion 15. She doesn't understand how versatile a laptop can be, but she'll find out soon enough. :laptop:

Congrats..Nothing like having a laptop especially the WiFi part..Very handy.

WiFi is the best part ... you never go back ....!!! My laptop (and my smart phone) are set to connect most anywhere I go or visit. Can you imagine this conversation 5 years from now? I remember (not so terribly long ago) being so excited to buy 4 megs of ram for $425.00 fastest computer around back then .... now it wouldn't even run most simple programs.

Yeah guys, I remember when a 5gig HDD was ridiculously large. I used to build all my PCs...now I'd rather just buy them. :smilie_happy:

Ya I used to belong to a Computer group and we would re-furbish old donated computers for the local schools from the old XT's to the 286's and the amazingly fast state of the art 386's - some of the XT's had 10 meg hard drives that were as big as a shoe box
