I'm just proud you spent one day straightening it up before you started this project :whistling: :hihihi: Looks like my work areas.

There is no way I would even post a picture of my pigsty right now, so yeah, I know what you mean.

 Whats the torch for.
I tried heating it to get an offset in the 1" pvc to connect up with the manifold.
I could get an offset just not enough to get the pipe straight on.

I have seen a ribbed hose being used as manifold tubing, both accordian radiator style and a stiffer ribbed version used in comercial plumbing, I always thought it would aid in gas atomization with the huge amount of suction being drawn across the ribs , a texture that is most difficult to make from metal tubing is already produced in rubber. The ribbed version is what I would use, It is stiffer then the radiator and is belted like a tire, you could stand on 4 and not bend them but can be bought to size or cut to fit. I just need to find out if they are still being made and who makes them.

Would never get anything done thinking like a motorcycle mechanic.

We had a 78 xj6 and every time you went around a corner with the ac on water leaked on your feet, always felt like calling a plumber
