Just looking on the local Kijiji for Oldwings for sale. Here is an '82 and I'm wondering about the bags and top case; are those Honda or aftermarket?
Here is another '82 with what I'm pretty sure are Hondaline bags etc.
The Hondaline definitely look better but which do you guys like more?

They were Hondaline bags. (Made by Samsonite as mentioned.) They are quick release travel bags. The idea was to load them up, take a trip, get to a hotel, pop the bags off and in you go for the night with all of your stuff! (Just like suitcases.) They were also designed (at the time) to fit in the small commuter airplane overhead bins, same idea for the travel (not that I am aware of anyone that actually used them that way.)

The side bags and trunk are identical bags and are interchangeable. Normally, one key fits the frame locks for all three and another key fits the latch locks. I have them on my bike and I really like them. They are not as big as the later Hondline bags that came installed on the Interstates and Aspy's.

For me, just the fact they pop off in seconds for me to do rear wheel and brake maintenance is a real plus!! Also, there are no LIDS to fly off on the highway! :smilie_happy:

I wasn't aware of that!

Yep! My trunk has a luggage rack on it, but I added that myself. As a matter of fact, my trunk used to be one of the side bags. The original trunk was severely sun damaged. I found two bags on Ebay back in the day and shifted accordingly.
