where to buy engine gasket sets

Anyone recommend where to buy an engine gasket set for an 83 Goldwing 1100 ? And are they really about $170.00 for that little amount of gaskets?

yep its a ripoff .....silicone rtv grade works good to use on old gaskits and make your own....not realy that hard :mrgreen:

If all your doing is pulling the heads I think you can get all the seals and gaskets you'll need for less if bought separately from cheapcycleparts.com

With the exception of the head gaskets, I use Permatex "Right Stuff" gasket maker. You can pick it up at just about any auto parts store and it works great.
