Who visits North Korea

Just how crazy or completely out of touch do you have to be to even get within a thousand yards of the NK border. I hear about people doing this and being captured and imprisoned by these US unfriendly nations and I just cant feel very sorry for them.
I know better then to go hiking near the border of Iran, or go sight seeing in North Korea ,what world do they live in.

Most of the people that do this are wealthy and by definition "out of touch with reality."
