+1

better still. Let the bike sit over night then pull the plugs. Kill switch to off then hit the starter. Stand clear of the plug holes. If any spray gas the carb is leaking.

OK went for short ride then pulled plugs. No gas at all. The plugs on the right were lean looking and both the left plugs were carbon fouled. What does this tell you guru s? What is the best gap for the plugs? Is it the spec or something else?

Here are plugs.

Left side gets a little oil on the side stand. Put the plugs from the left side on the right. Still a good idea to pull the plugs after sitting overnight before the first start. To check for gas in the cylinder.

If the no start occurs when hot, you can have heat-related resistance in the starter.
Check it very closely for adequate grease in the reduction gear assembly.
Check the commutator for clean separation between the ring segments.
Check the resistance between armature segments. Should be no conductivity between segments.
How are the brushes? Look for dust buildup in/on the brush holder plate, it can conduct and you will lose power there.

Looking at tha pics. All that dust was yer brushes. Tha armature looks like its toasted good and proper. I see bare wire on some of the winding's and tha commutator looks overheated and worn out.
