Help Support Classic Goldwings:
the lowers are different and the hardware too...it sould stay together for a 750 bike that kinda rare and same to mess up ...nice package for 750

Mounting hardware is different based on the bike frame. But if you get a GL1000 Vetter mount, it might transfer, I believe the mount base on the faring itself is the same, just the mounts are different. That faring is one of the older ones.

If the mount doesn't fit, most likely it won't be a direct match, all you need to do it modify the one you have, or find another mount made for the 1000 (these can be found for free). The lowers pitcured will also work, but they may require some cutting to get them to fit around the engine correctly.
