Picked up a street scooter for those days when its too hot for a fairing !!
V65 Sabre - 121 HP - 1100 cc
Cycle magazine says it does a quater mile in 10.92 sec's (but I am pretty sure that I wont be doing that - untill my stupid speeding tickets expire)

Wifey is gonna flip !! LOL

well to make a long story short - I sold my scooter to my buddy (he needed the transmission as his was starting to fail) so I bought a V65 Magna but the engine had some difficulties and I ended up parting it out. My buddy who bought my Sabre used the tranny from the Magna so he did not really need the sabre anymore so I bought it back. Hows that old saying go ...... something about setting it free and if it returns ... bla bla bla ..anyways I guess I own it again. Just having new Fork Seals and Handle Bars installed, then I will be setting the lifters and should be riding it within a week ... Cant wait !! This is one incredibly fast bike !!

LOL the transmission cae off the Magna I parted out !! this one is in good shape 50,000 kilometers = 30K miles
just finished the front forks, changing out the rotors and shold be safetied and on the go for next week

Congrats on the new wheels!..I nearly had the same bike before I bought the GL but I was a day late, Might be on a Sabre forum had I made the call , I`m not disappointed with the GL purchase though.
That 10.92 was with Terry Vance on it, there is a video on you tube of the run/commercial.
Good looking bike.

Got me..Bronko has been digging up old threads and have been careful till now. Thinking about it he must be clicking on the pics that appear at random and thinking they are current posts.
