Well, I've got this carb rack I got with my new to me 83.

The p.o. mechanic broke off the float stem trying to get the pin out.

Wow. I guess I can see how this can be done by the uninitiated, but it seems it would take a lot to do that.

I've heard you can repair them, but I'd rather just try and find a replacement...

Anybody have one they want to sell?

thanks,

Pony

Yeah, might be a long search..... I have seen carb parts lots on ebay, but this isn't a do or die deal....

I suppose they could become a parts lot....

JB weld?

I read something somewhere - tried to find it on Randakk - could not.

how is it done or can you link me up?

SG,

Thanks

Try this- https://www.randakks.com/Float%20Pivot%2 ... 0Kit.htm#1

I'm sure that works, but I don't really need it at the moment.

Not something I want to spend the time on - so much other stuff to do on these bikes - I have 3GL's now.....

3 out of the 4 carb racks I have are good. I really only need one rack for my project bike....

I was just trying to see if there was one out there with my name on it.

thanks,

maybe something will show up
