    Ty everyone, I made the hitch out of a tie rod end, I thought the 2" ball hitch looked a little huge for such a small trailer The trailer is nice when you stay in one spot for a few days. I found that no matter how much storage one has the wife will fill it up.

    Water pump?

    I learned the hard way by using silicone instead of a gasket. When I was done I could hardly shift the bike. I had to take it apart and use a gasket.

    Well it sounds maybe like a rod bearing. A rod bearing usually doesn't knock when the engine is pulling but will knock the loudest when you allow the engine to float, not pulling or holding back. On my 79 wing you could here the rods knock until the oil pressure came up. Maybe try pulling one...

    I have a Garmin 550 and love it! I purchased the "life time map update" for it for $125, now I see its going for less. Rain or shine it has served me well.
