Hi all new member here, I have owned a 79 and a 83 gold wing and am now riding a 93. Never had a problem with the 79 but with the 83 I had to replace the water pump which I just had to do on my 93. 120000 on the 79 and 108 on the 83. Not all my miles but most of them. Even though I don't have a Classic bike I still might be able to contribute now and again. I have always bought used bikes thinking that the bike will out last me but I still might have to buy another, the 93 has over 80000 now. But every spring the wife and I still want to go so life goes on.

Ted

welcome. these bikes are good for lots of miles, but even then little things need to be done, like any vehicle. Water pumps certainly come to mind.
