Welcome to CGW. 83 is a good year for the 1100. Did you change the timing belts?

    electrical problem

Typically it's a ground problem in the headlight bucket, but all grounds should be checked and cleaned once a year.

New member looking for ideas and tips...

A shelter from an 1100 will work after modifications as it's not a direct bolt on. Others have modified the 1200 shelter to remove the indents for the fairing but that requires some body work but is doable. Others have used gas tanks from other bikes, opened them up on the inside to make them...

    Rear tire...AGAIN...the continuing saga...

If you have a floor jack they work great at lifting the bike high enough to take off the rear wheel. 21,000 + miles on a set of Dunlops and they passed the PA state inspection again this year. I hear the Shinkos are about as good as the Dunlops, in fact I have a set of them in the garage to go...

    Center Stand remove/install

Exhaust has to come off (sorry about that). Instead of trying to fix the one that broke how about getting a good one from a breaker. Might as well do it up good since it takes a bit to replace it anyway.

    Side Bags Gaskets

I've had good luck in the past from these people when I was using the bags and needed seals. Good luck. https://www.rubbersealmarket.com/2013/02/edge-trim-black-large-u-height-this-is.html

Hondaline saddle bag lids for GL1100 stock bags

Nah, just moving some extra stuff I have no need for anymore. The bags were messed up but the lids were in good shape as well as the locks. Have some more stuff to sell later.

Good condition. $30.00 includes shipping. I can get a key made locally if anyone wants and that will add $4.00 to the cost.
