    Gheez, that is blingy. How long do you suppose that aluminum will remain shiny? By the way, ordered a swing arm lock nut socket, after which the frame will be naked. Then some sandblasting and glossy black Rust-O-Leum for the frame and interior parts.

    Way short on tools, no ultrasonic cleaner, or polishing stuff. But your carbs still look awesome.

    The motor, she is out last night. Then I will strip the rest of the frame, and begin sanding and painting, and tinkering with the motor

    Breaking it down, removed the radiator and fan assembly, and the forward cowling. Gonna strip it so I can repaint the frame, re-assemble and get it running great.

    Removing surface rust

    On the exhaust, I have sprayed with some silver rustoleum on the rusty parts not chromed, and it looks OK for a little while. till the next spritz.
