    well we will see what sort of deal pops up over the winter. who knows, maybe a 1500 will be in the drive come spring. hard to sell a bike this time of year and i would like it to go before a new one comes along. but who knows

    floorboards with heel toe shift. i realize i am not going to have "harley" type forward controls but its like i am riding a sport bike. was just curious weather the 1500 was a little longer in the leg room area. sombody take my 1100 and i will find out for myself. ha ha

    the 1500 i 3" longer wheelbase. i wondered if that would make the difference. yes i have floor boards. i like them and i do not think pegs would help. i am 6' 3" and that is the problem

    i bought a 1100 in the spring and rode the wheels off it and i like the bike but am a little cramped for leg room. does anybody know if the 1500 has more room in this area? the 1200 is no different. yes i have highway pegs, but trying to move a size 11 boot around to shift and brake is a real...

    well 550 miles later i am looking for something different. just to uncomfortable. ran great and got 47 mpg. handled good too.

    up shift is easier cause my toe is out on the board. down shift takes some thought. brake can be difficult with boots. usually wear vans so it is easier to maneuver my feet around. guess i will just deal with it and enjoy the ride.

    already done all that. i even have floorboards and heal toe shift. it is just to cramped.especially with boots on. these need about 6" longer wheelbase. maybe the 1500 is the same. the 1800 was just as bad it seemed. a v-twin anything has more foot room.

    i don't know but i'm pretty cramped on this one. hopefully the 1500 has more leg room. at 6'3" i could put highway pegs on the front axle.
