I hear they (1500's) handle like a bus, when i buy one I will be changing my name to Ralf! (as in Cramden)

i don't know but i'm pretty cramped on this one. hopefully the 1500 has more leg room. at 6'3" i could put highway pegs on the front axle.

already done all that. i even have floorboards and heal toe shift. it is just to cramped.especially with boots on. these need about 6" longer wheelbase. maybe the 1500 is the same. the 1800 was just as bad it seemed. a v-twin anything has more foot room.

yed no doutb about that ...big deal to me first ...but at abou 5ft 11" i got used to it ...i do know thats forward controls can be made for them and set up like harleys ....one things for sure oldwing travel well and do great on hiway when set up right ....any more i like the cramped feeling and stay in it most while traveling....i like the low center of gravity the wings have ....oldwing 1200 bars work good on riding possistion for me on 1100s and 1000s with there different pull back

Dont you find that with the heel toe shifter your foot actually has to be back farther to operate it and makes it a bit more cramped? I cant use my hyway pegs as I have a bad hip.

Horizontal motors certainly have their drawbacks

They do!

I ride with my feet up on the engine guards! (Course, I have a Vetter faring and can take my lowers off giving easy access to my engine guards!)
