    I use slime, a liquid tire sealer that a lotta dirt bikers use, but only in tubes. The people that change tires hate the mess if used in tubeless and there are stories of corrosion to some wheels if used on tubeless. dave

    got 85 gl1200 tip switched and wired it to my electric fuel pump install. Now using normally open 12 volt auto relay ( very common, auto parts store or I got mine from auto junk yard near home ) Much simpler than earlier install and is on with ignition switch and stays on unless bike is laid...

    MPG with single carb?

    I am averaging 30mpg with single carb but never saw better than around 34 or 35 with stock carbs. 76 gl1000 Would never consider going back to stock even if someone gave me a set of carbs. dave

    I did a variation on Shovelkings grab bar using them but putting 1 inch pvc inside mixing some of dans 1 inch idea and the result is great. even running throughout rpm range and 30 mpg with hard riding style. Also used 2 to 1 adapter so I could point the carb the direction I wanted for fitment...

    installing electric fuel pump on my 76

    Oil pressure light socket is I think a isolated ground and gets its ground from the pressure switch. Anyway its working now as I am on a test ride now and using my phone to post. I agree the tilt switch is the way to go and have already bought one on eBay. dave
